Pakistan's Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi described the Mecca Joint Defence Agreement with Saudi Arabia and Turkey as a pact to promote peace and strengthen regional cooperation, not provoke war. Speaking at the Global Security Forum in Doha, he highlighted Pakistan and Qatar's mediation efforts between the United States and Iran and urged sustained dialogue and cooperation against terrorism.
