At the 9th Northeast Butterfly Meet and International Research Conference at Kokilabari in the Manas National Park landscape, researchers documented over 185 butterfly species, including rare finds. The three-day event released regional guidebooks, drew around 100 delegates from India and abroad, and focused on species documentation, conservation challenges, research collaboration and promoting biodiversity-based education and ecotourism.
