India captain Smriti Mandhana plans to use the six-match series against Zimbabwe to refine the team's T20I strategy and set clear standards ahead of the inaugural Women's Champions Trophy in February 2027. The tour, Mandhana's first as full-time captain, includes three T20Is in Raipur and three ODIs in Vadodara to assess combinations and address weaknesses.
