Central government employees just received a festive financial boost as the Union Cabinet approved a 3 percent dearness allowance hike ahead of Diwali. This thoughtful decision involves an estimated financial outgo of 10,016 crore rupees, successfully increasing in hand salaries. Additionally, the Cabinet cleared a 10,000 crore rupee container scheme and allocated 7,395 crore rupees for the Pradhan Mantri Gram Sadak Yojana.
