The central government has officially amended the motor vehicle rules to clear the path for pure E100 fuel and flex-fuel vehicles in India. While this shift opens doors for eco-friendly driving, new safety norms state that high ethanol blends like E85 and E100 cannot be used in regular E20 vehicles. Only specially designed flex fuel engines will handle these cleaner fuels smoothly, paving a sustainable road ahead.
