Old Mosques, New Bonds - Sikhs, Hindus & Muslims Rebuild Together in Punjab

In Punjab, Sikh and Hindu villagers are funding and restoring abandoned mosques left since Partition, donating land and materials to revive more than 165 sites. These restorations have revived interfaith ties, enabling shared prayers and festivals, and rekindling hope among elderly Muslims to hear the azaan locally again while reflecting Punjab’s tradition of communal harmony.
